Overton Road, just off Gloucester Road, is one of the roads eligible to receive funds for improvements, particularly to encourage local people to support their high streets as part of the recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Bristol City Council is asking people who live or work near Overton Road / Gloucester Road, or visit the area for shopping or leisure, to fill in a survey to find out what kinds of measures would improve the road. The survey includes an open-ended set of questions on what might reduce traffic congestion and pollution, minimise rat running, support local businesses and improve access for all. It also asks for comments on a trial closing of the road at the Gloucester Road end.
To have your say go to the Overton Road Engagement Survey on the council website. Survey closes on 7th February 2021.
